About

Cecilia: Weaver of words for all ages, from childhood whispers to adult cries. Her debut adult novel, “The Invisibles,” gripped and heartbroken readers, earning praise from bestselling author Meg Donohue. A second adult tale looms on the horizon for Winter 2017.

But Cecilia’s artistry blossoms across generations. Her young adult novel, “The Patron Saint of Butterflies,” bloomed from her own communal upbringing, earning national accolades and prestigious awards like the NAIBA Best Book of the Year. “The Sweetness of Salt” and “Be Not Afraid” offer further young adult adventures.

For middle-grade readers, Cecilia conjures worlds in “Willowood,” “Hershey Herself,” and “The Summer of May,” with “The World From Up Here” launching this summer.

No age escapes her storytelling magic. The “Little Wings” series takes flight in children’s hearts, recently translated into Turkish and Japanese.

When not spinning yarns, Cecilia cultivates young minds as an eighth-grade English teacher at Wyoming Seminary Preparatory School and shares her wisdom with aspiring writers on the creative writing faculty at Wilkes University. She calls Kingston, Pennsylvania, her home.
